An introduction to dental, medical, optometric, and pharmaceutical services

Integrated care boards (ICBs) have responsibility for commissioning the four primary care areas of dental, medical, optometric, and pharmaceutical services and ICB teams will need to understand contractual arrangements for all these contractor groups. This training session will provide a high-level introduction to each of these areas, including contract types and services, showing the similarities and differences between these areas. This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in primary care, and is particularly useful for ICBs, local authorities, NHS trusts and other stakeholders who will be collaborating with primary care to realise the ambition of the 10 Year Health Plan.
