An introduction to dental, medical, optometric, and pharmaceutical services

Integrated care boards (ICBs) have responsibility for commissioning the four primary care areas of dental, medical, optometric, and pharmaceutical services. ICB teams and other stakeholders who work with primary care and neighbourhoods need to be familiar with all the primary care contracts to support decision making and day to day work. This training session will provide a high-level introduction to each of these areas, including contract types and services, showing the similarities and differences between these areas. This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in primary care.
