An introduction to general practice finance – commissioner focus

As commissioners you will understand that the financial stability of general practice is one of the cornerstones of ensuring sustainable services to patients central to neighbourhood health.  Without a firm understanding how general practice is funded, it is difficult for commissioners to offer appropriate support.  PCC’s virtual training session will provide clarity on the NHS financial structures that underpin GP practices and primary care networks (PCNs).  You will learn how funding flows, the various income streams, and how expenditure is managed.
