Cardiovascular disease quality improvement packs

The Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Audit (CVDPREVENT) has published new quality improvement data packs for integrated care boards (ICBs). Each pack presents system level data for your ICB against key CVDPREVENT indicators for hypertension and lipid management. They:

  • highlight GP practice level variation within your ICB
  • identify top achieving practices and those practices which have improved the most over the last quarter
  • include top tips and key actions to improve achievement against each metric.

The indicators are aligned with clinical guidelines and quality standards on cardiovascular disease and hypertension (NG238, QS100, NG136, QS28).
