GP Connect: update record is a new feature being added to Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework IT system suppliers’ systems. It allows for the safe sharing of information about patient consultations outside of general practice, which can then be updated in the patient record. The system will initially support consultations performed under the Pharmacy First (minor illness and clinical pathways), hypertension case finding and pharmacy contraception services.
