Community Pharmacy national health campaigns

Under the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework 2026/27, community pharmacy contractors must promote two national health campaigns. The first national campaign runs from 5 October to 25 October 2026 and will focus on encouraging the public to treat pharmacy teams with respect so they can undertake their professional practice safely. Contractors can use existing communications materials developed by NHS England or Community Pharmacy England. The second promotes Pharmacy First to the public and runs from 1 February to 21 February 2027. Existing communications materials are available on the DHSC Campaign Resource Centre (CRC). Contractors should plan now how they will promote each campaign using the materials available – including displaying posters or leaflets in the pharmacy, posting information online or in patient messages.
