Data driven elective recovery
Jim Mackey, national director of elective recovery and Bola Owolabi, director, National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme recently shared their insights about how we can use data to create an inclusive elective recovery in insightful recordings available on Solving Together.
The recordings were shared during the first Data Driven Inclusive Elective Recovery summit, which was held in April.
Recordings of the case studies and other outputs from the summit are now available on the Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme NHS Futures space. The space is also available for discussion around health inequalities and elective care.
The summit was hosted by Solving Together, and emerged from the crowdsourcing phase of Solving Together for elective care recovery. More than 8,000 people joined in the conversation generating 392 ideas from 100,000 interactions. Every single idea and comment has been reviewed by more than 30 champions who are supporting this work, led by regional NHS leads, including people lived experience, national clinical directors, experts in health inequalities and system improvers.
