Following a successful national assessment into the most clinically appropriate and best value diabetes appliances, new commissioning recommendations on blood glucose and ketone meters, testing strips and lancets have been published.
The new guidance recommends 16 appliances making prescribing practices simpler and providing both type-1 and type-2 patients with the best quality products.
