Digital weight management programme – community pharmacy referrals

The NHS Digital Weight Management Programme is still available to all community pharmacies in England, to refer eligible patients into; those with a BMI > 30 and diagnosis of hypertension or diabetes, or both. Since 2021, over 12,560 referrals have been received from community pharmacies. Contractors are encouraged to continue making referrals to support people to live a healthy lifestyle as part of their healthy living pharmacy activities.
