NHS England has published a number of easy read and plain English newsletters about the work being done to make the NHS better for people with a learning disability and autistic people. GP practices are encouraged to share the information with their patients. Newsletter number 18 talks about type 1 diabetes and number 17 talks about type 2 diabetes. Resources are also translated and videos available.
