NHS England’s letter to integrated care boards (ICBs) and trusts outlines the programme from 2024 to 2030 for routine, systematic emergency preparedness testing. It confirms that from October, NHS England will set themes for NHS organisations to exercise in turn, and asks that organisations work together to plan, exercise and report on their capabilities within each theme.
