Empowering primary care infrastructure development with Section 106 funding

High quality premises are the cornerstone of patient care.  It therefore essential to secure available funding sources. This is where Section 106 and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding come into play. Local authorities are key partners in the development and implementation of community infrastructure projects. By engaging with them, the NHS can:

  • Access vital funding: Secure financial contributions from developers through Section 106 agreements and CIL to support healthcare infrastructure.
  • Enhance service delivery: Ensure that new developments include provisions for healthcare facilities, thereby improving access to services for residents.
  • Foster collaborative relationships: Build strong partnerships with local authorities to align healthcare planning with community growth and development.

PCC offers comprehensive support to the NHS in navigating the complexities of Section 106 and CIL funding. Our expertise has helped numerous NHS organisations secure significant funding for projects such as new health centres and community clinics.   Contact enquiries@pcc-cic.org.uk to find out more.
