Following engagement with the General Dental Council, the office of the chief dental officer welcomes the introduction of environmental sustainability into The Safe Practitioner: A framework of behaviours and outcomes for dental professional education as an important consideration when providing dental care. The specific changes made by the General Dental Council are addressed in the consultation outcome report.
