Integrated care boards (ICBs) are putting in place self-referral for seven services including community musculoskeletal and community podiatry services as part of the 2023/24 priorities and operational planning guidance and the delivery plan for recovering access to primary care. To support preparedness, a readiness assessment has been shared with ICBs via NHS England’s regional teams.
