More GP appointments are being delivered across the country and an extra 2,000 GPs have been recruited since last October. It comes as figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show the number of patients who found it difficult to contact their practice has fallen significantly from 18.7% in July/August 2024 to 10.6% in May/June this year.
