Getting under-11s in England moving again
This report finds that half of primary school children fail to meet basic activity levels. It finds that screen time is replacing play and that the rise in obesity and mental ill health is affecting the poorest children most. It urges Ofsted to intervene by making physical development a key evaluation area for schools.
