GP practice mergers

The pressures on general practice mean that mergers are increasingly common.  Whether this is through GP partners joining each other’s contracts, more formal merger arrangements where partners join another practice and a contract ceases, or considerations of mergers at a primary care network, or super practice level.  These changes are complex with significant financial and premises considerations. Options and risks need to be fully considered.  PCC can help support decision making and the process, contact enquiries@pcc-cic.org.uk to find out more.
