GP practices transparency obligations for OpenSAFELY

NHS England issued a Data Privacy Notice (DPN) to notify GP practices of a change in legal basis for the continuation of an COVID-19 analysis service using OpenSAFELY. NHS England’s transparency materials can be accessed via the Coronavirus response information governance hub, and a draft data protection impact assessment (DPIA) and a set of FAQs is now available to support GP practices in meeting their transparency obligations as data controllers.
