Guidance on the use of NHSNoReply

Earlier this year, NHS England shared updated National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance, which aims to reduce the number of SMS sender IDs used across the NHS, to ensure that the sender ID reflects the service that the patient is using and reduce the risk of bounce-back messages. Primary care organisations using SMS messages are asked to use NHSNoReply SMS sender ID only. All other variations (such as nhs noreply, NHS NOREPLY and NHS-NoReply), will be blocked from 5 November 2024. For more information, please visit the NCSC website.
