Health inequalities legal duties

NHS England’s statement about information on health inequalities explains how integrated care boards and trusts should collect, analyse, publish and use information on health inequalities. This includes a legal duty to set out in your annual report how well your organisation has responded to the statement.  NHS England’s letter provides a summary of the core legal duties by organisation type and explains the relationship to other duties including the Public Sector Equality Duty.
