How families find and choose care
This report, developed in partnership with Log my Care, provides a clear, evidence-based insight into how families actually search for and choose care. Drawing on a survey of 1,000 people who have recently arranged care, it focuses on how the system is experienced in practice rather than how it is intended to work. The research highlights a consistent reality. Only a small proportion of families find arranging care straightforward, with most describing the process as complex, uncertain and emotionally demanding. For care providers, policymakers and system leaders, the insights highlight where trust is built, where it is lost, and how communication and information can be improved to better support families.
