The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has published advice for GPs and practice staff to support them in handling FOI requests. The advice explains GPs’ responsibility for responding to requests and covers some typical scenarios. It highlights resources and further advice. Colleagues are advised to read the guidance to discover practical steps which practices can take to improve FOI compliance.
