Improved outcomes through partnership working with social care

The report brings together learning from a two-year appreciative inquiry, drawing on conversations with 90 stakeholders and the experiences of over 2,600 care leaders. It explores what effective partnership looks like between adult social care providers and the wider health and care system – particularly when relationships are based on respect and equality, not hierarchy. The evidence concludes that, where adult-to-adult relationships are prioritised and care providers are engaged as equal partners in the wider system, outcomes improve for everyone.
