The Department of Health and Social Care’s Accelerating Reform Fund was a £42.6m grant fund in England. It focused on identifying and scaling up innovations in adult social care to boost its quality and accessibility, with a particular emphasis on supporting unpaid carers. The Social Care Institute for Excellence was appointed to provide hands-on support to local areas, supporting innovation through local partnerships and project development. This report sets out key learnings and best practice for the benefit of the wider sector and future of adult social care.
