Introduction to project management

The NHS is undergoing unprecedented transformation. With the rollout of the 10-Year Health Plan, the shift from hospital to community care, digital-first services, and major structural reforms, project management skills are no longer optional—they’re essential. Project management requires a specific set of skills, some of which we possess naturally and can learn to use more effectively. But it also requires knowledge and a well-defined approach. This online workshop  (comprising two sessions) will explore the common principles of project management. The workshop has been designed as an introduction suitable for those who are new to the role or have recently taken on responsibility for projects or is new to a project team. It is also suitable for anyone looking for a refresh of the principles of project management.
