Online GP patient auto registration

NHS England has completed a successful pilot for GP practices in England using the TPP system to assess new auto registration functionality through the online service. This feature reduces the administrative for practices by automating the registration process for eligible patients. During the pilot, practices reported time savings, with registration times dropping from an average of 3.06 days to 17 minutes. The auto registration functionality will be rolled out regionally across all TPP practices from late June to mid-July.
