Pancreatic cancer primary care case-finding pilot

The NHS Cancer Programme is launching a pilot in primary care to improve the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer for people aged 60 years and over with new onset diabetes and weight loss. PCNs interested in taking part in this pilot can apply through their cancer alliance and a list of contacts (sign in to FutureNHS required) is available showing who to contact. Cancer alliances, with support from PCNs, are responsible for submitting the expression of interest form by 31 January. Visit FutureNHS to download the application form and find out more, or contact england.pancreaticcancer@nhs.net.
