Patients finding it easier to contact their GP practice

Latest ONS Health Insight Survey figures show an increase in patients finding it easier to contact their general practice team since July 2024 – up from 60 to 72 per cent – with up to three-quarters of patients finding it easy or very easy to contact their GP team.  Thousands of surgeries have made significant changes through adopting new technology and ways of working. There is information on the NHS England website to help practices move towards a modern general practice approach, including guides on care navigation, improving online journeys, and aligning capacity with demand.
