PCC Insight – Collaborate to survive

In this edition of PCC Insight there is a theme of collaboration. Commissioners need to become the system enabler and shaper, primary care, PCNs, other providers need to be at the table for neighbourhood, or multi-neighbourhood discussions, shifting the paradigm to work “with” each other. Thoughts on collaboration, are authored in this edition by Peter Bullivant, Professor David Colin-Thomé and Helen Ellis.  The implications for practices and PCNs includes an opportunity for them to start to take control of their own future.  This is outlined in an article by William Greenwood with some practical steps in an article by Helen Northall. We also consider the use of AI in answering policy and regulatory queries and have some frequently asked questions from the PCC helpdesk.
