Primary care dental contracts – contracting matters in depth

Integrated care boards must ensure people can access NHS dentistry services. As strategic commissioners they, and those working on their behalf, must make appropriate contractual arrangements and manage these well to ensure value is obtained. Several commissioning and contracting matters may arise, some of which are complex.  This session uses real life contracting scenarios to equip dental commissioners with the knowledge and skills to consider the matter in hand, review their options and approaches, look at the best contracting decision that may be made under the circumstances and putting themselves in the best place to defend a commissioning decision.
