Primary care medical contracts – an introduction

Integrated care boards as strategic commissioners need to grow their knowledge and skills to most effectively commission and manage primary care services. Over two virtual sessions, this course introduces commissioners to the main areas of primary care medical contracts (GMS, PMS and APMS) that they will need to understand. Training will familiarise commissioners with contract types, who can hold which contract, services, variation rules, patient lists, practice areas and contract changes.
