Primary care pharmaceutical, optometric and dental services – an introduction

Integrated care boards (ICBs) have responsibility for commissioning primary care pharmaceutical, optometric and dental services. ICBs need to grow their knowledge and skills, understanding the contractual arrangements for all the primary care contractor groups. This half day virtual workshop introduces commissioning responsibilities, contract types, the services that should be provided and the financial arrangements for each area.  This workshop will be useful for anyone commissioning or collaborating with primary care contractors, including councils and trusts.
