Primary eye care contracts – contract changes

NHS eye care is an important primary care service. The Model ICB highlights that this is an area in which ICBs need to grow their commissioning skills. Commissioners must make the contractual arrangements so services can be made available to patients and appropriately manage them. With these contracts in place, commissioners will need to manage variation requests.
