PTSD awareness day

PTSD awareness day is on 27 June.  The aim is to raise awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex-PTSD by promoting awareness, sparking conversations, and extending unwavering support to create a world where the effects of trauma, whatever the cause, are met with empathy and understanding. Research shows that 10% of people will experience PTSD at some point in their lifetime – but it’s estimated that up to 70% of people with PTSD and C-PTSD in the UK do not receive any professional help at all.  Theres more information and resources here.
