Record a vaccination service system for GPs

From autumn / winter 2026/27, GP teams who collaborate to deliver seasonal vaccinations under the primary care network directed enhanced service (PCN DES) will have the option to use the Record a Vaccination Service (RAVS), only where:

  • all practices within a primary care network (PCN) use the EMIS system; or
  • practices within a PCN use both the EMIS system and the TPP system.

More information will be shared by regional teams shortly. Practices not collaborating, or those collaborating but all using TPP, should continue to use their normal GPIT system. The seasonal vaccination enhanced service will be amended and published in due course, to reflect the above change.
