Service to confirm GP registration status

Since its launch in July 2023, the notify a patient service has sent around 8,000 messages to let people know their registration with a new GP practice has been successful. Messages are sent via the NHS App to ensure patients are in the right place to start using digital services, which can result in time savings for them and for practices. NHS England is looking to work with more practices as they develop and refine the service. They are particularly interested in hearing from practices with a large student population.
