NHS England’s updated guidance for employers sets out workforce models for community pharmacies and hospital pharmacy departments. Pharmacy employers and primary care networks are encouraged to consider the shared workforce models as a way of meeting local system needs and increasing job satisfaction. The guidance includes a process overview and considerations such as different provider models, education and training requirements.
