Smoke-free pregnancy incentives scheme extended

New funding has been made available to maintain the national smoke-free pregnancy incentives scheme. The 2025/26 offer will continue to provide financial incentives alongside behavioural support to encourage pregnant women to quit smoking, improving their own and their babies’ health. Any maternity-led service, community stop smoking services (general practice and community pharmacy) or NHS third party provider which is not already part of the scheme can still apply. Integrated care boards may also submit an application on behalf of multiple organisations.
