Access to compassionate, informed support is more important than ever for LGBTQIA+ people. GP surgeries and healthcare settings play a vital role in the wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ people, often being one of the first points of contact for those seeking help or reassurance. By sharing information about Switchboard, healthcare professionals can provide an additional, trusted signpost for LGBTQIA+ patients and staff, connecting them to a service that listens, understands and supports without judgement.  Examples of resources that could be useful across different NHS settings are available.
