Supporting carers in general practice

NHS England is looking to refresh the 2019 Carers in General Practice Framework of Quality Markers, to bring them up to date with new healthcare systems, current statutory responsibilities and to support the sharing of learning and best practice. Workshops will be held throughout November/December 2024 to hear thoughts, feedback and ideas. These will be used to inform the design of new guidance, that reflects the priorities and experiences of unpaid carers today. The workshop for primary care colleagues will be held on Tuesday 3rd December 2024. To attend, please register by emailing england.nhsthinkcarer@nhs.net. Alternatively, contribute to the discussion by completing the survey by 26 November 2024.
