Sustainability in general practice

General practice is experiencing one of its most challenging periods. Many practices – no matter how well-run and efficient they are in danger of experiencing sustainability issues.  PCC works with practices facing issues such as loss of partners, or other challenges. Examples of support to one practice included:

  • Time with an experienced practice manager to develop a strategic business plan, with a focus on succession planning.
  • A session to develop the financial review mechanisms that ensured effective monitoring of financial performance.
  • A question-and-answer session with our premises expert to assess premises options.
