Utilisation of primary care premises

As decisions are made regarding new neighbourhood health centre development and investment in GP premises from the Modernisation and Utilisation Fund, it is essential that underpinning the business case is a sound understanding of current premises utilisation.  Optimising use of primary care premises and ensuring any investment made considers future shifts of services to the community, increased use of digital, and multi-disciplinary team working is essential.  PCC can support utilisation reviews, the development of business cases and estate strategies.
