What trans and non-binary people told us about GP care
Based on the results of a survey, this report finds that administrative hurdles and harmful assumptions about people’s experiences are common amongst trans and non-binary people. Over half of respondents, almost 1,400 people, were only slightly confident or not at all confident about using their GP. However, people also shared stories of good care, in which staff treated them with respect and compassion and took the time to understand the care they needed.
