Whole-school approach to wellbeing

myHappymind is an NHS-backed, whole-school mental health and wellbeing programme designed to support children, staff and families through a preventive, evidence-based approach to emotional wellbeing and inclusion. It aims to build pupils’ emotional literacy, self-regulation, and resilience through lessons, interactive tasks, and practical strategies. This review of evidence from teachers delivering myHappymind in early years settings and primary schools in Bradford and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight found that the myHappymind programme supports children in their emotional regulation, self-esteem, and wellbeing.
