Women’s health communications activity

A campaign on women’s health will feature in national media publications. Followed by features in local and regional publications, and further activity over the year ahead. The focus is on heavy and painful periods, endometriosis and menopause. It encourages women to contact their GP practice if their periods or menopause symptoms affect their daily life and may lead to an increase in women and girls accessing general practice. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence women’s and reproductive health guidelines hub and the Royal College of General Practitioners women’s health library have a range of resources on to support practitioners.
