Persuasive and effective board reporting

Where

Many of us spend much of our working lives in committees across health, local authorities and the third sector, and find ourselves having to write and present reports to a range of committees and groups.

For many it’s a task that is ‘part of the job’ but one we find challenging or frustrating.

Do you for example:

  • Struggle to make your committee reports compelling, appropriate and achieve the outcome needed?
  • Struggle to find your authentic style – do you oversimplify or get lost in too much complex detail?
  • Get anxious about presenting your report?

Why does it matter?

A high performing committee or board requires high quality, up to date information on which to make decisions.

Officers who support committees need to be able to create reports with a logical narrative, that build compelling arguments, have enough information to support robust decision making, that identify risks and opportunities, and offer clear recommendations.

Would you like to:

  • Improve the quality of your reports?
  • Like to feel more confident when you present your reports to committee?

Then this three-hour online workshop may be for you.

Delivered by a PCC trainer who is experienced chair and committee member, the workshop will be a blend of theory and practice with time to meet participants and share learning and consider what you want to put into practice.

This workshop is suitable for people working in the NHS, local authorities, and the voluntary and community sector.
