Integrated care boards need to grow their knowledge and skills to effectively commission primary care services. Once primary medical services contracts are in place, commissioners will need to manage when things go wrong

Unfortunately, during the lifetime of a contract, commissioners may be in situations where they need to take contractual action.

This training course will provide an overview on the types of notices that can be issued, when these may be used and the processes that should be followed.

The agenda covers:

  • Breach notices
  • Remedial notices
  • Termination notices
  • Contract sanction notices

The training course will be led by our expert adviser team.

To gain the most benefit from this session delegates are encouraged to take opportunities to discuss current issues and seek solutions with our expert and each other.

This session is for commissioners and those working on their behalf who have basic knowledge of primary medical contracts (GMS/ PMS) and are looking to develop their knowledge regarding breaches, terminations and sanctions.

Following attendance on the course, the delegates will be able to confidently deal with the issuing and management of contract notices.
