A Study day for Paediatric Nursing Staff around the Yorkshire and Humber region, to support evidencing the Level 1 Critical Care skills, set within local critical care skills passports/PICS standards.

The study day includes:-

  • Revision of structured ABC assessment, and management of the sick child
  • Blood Gases
  • ECG Recognition
  • Assessment and management of the child with reduced conscious level
  • Case bases discussions – Cases to draw together the learning from the day.
